These are books our children read after they were solid chapter book readers. I would say this generally will fall into the ages of elementary school-age children, but truly, anyone could enjoy these books. They are books to be enjoyed perhaps again when you are a teenager or read aloud to a child or the family. I will continue to add to this page, as an index, of the books I review on my blog that fall in this category. So check back again!
Edward’s Eyes by Patricia MacLachlan
Little Britches/Father and I Were Ranchers by Ralph Moody
Miracles on Maple Hill by Virginia Sorensen
Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (series) by C.S. Lewis
