This is Paris and other bedtime reading

Tonight's bedtime read led from one book to another: starting out with "This is Paris" (by M. Sasek, which is an utter delight about what you will find in Paris), which led Anna to retrieve and share some related parts from another book, "Mission Paris: A Savenger Hunt Adventure" by Catherine Aragon (which had delightful tidbits about Napoleon) and finally to "Cathedral: The Story of Its Construction" by David Macaulay (whom you will know from "The Way Things Work"). Picture books are such a wonderful way to introduce children to art, history, geography, etc.! #readingmother #childrensbooksrecommendations #20minuteswithMom #thisiswhywedontgettobedearly #lovelearning #Anna #wishicouldhomeschool #sometimes #notalways
