To listen

I am not sure I’ve been a great teacher of how to listen to others with love and patience, because I’m still learning to be a better listener. I hope to improve and to model that for my children because we are living in a world where we need more listening ears. So much of what we hear on the radio or see in visual media shows people who constantly interrupt one another. It is hard to listen to that noise and contention. People who listen carefully to others make a difference in this world, especially to the people to whom they lovingly listen.
